1. agreement to terms
by accessing or using GROVV (“the Service”), operated at grovv.top, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. if you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. description of service
GROVV is a build-in-public platform that enables indie founders, solo SaaS builders, and other creators to:
- create a public profile page at grovv.top/@handle displaying startup metrics
- connect third-party services (Stripe, Dodo Payments, GitHub, etc.) to automatically display live revenue and development data
- generate milestone cards and shareable content
- track building streaks and growth milestones
- participate in the GROVV founder directory and leaderboard
3. account registration
to use GROVV, you must create an account using one of our supported authentication providers (Google). you are responsible for:
- maintaining the security of your account credentials
- all activities that occur under your account
- ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and current
you must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
4. public information & data accuracy
GROVV displays information on your public page that is pulled from connected third-party services. you acknowledge that:
- information displayed on your public page is visible to anyone on the internet
- you are responsible for the accuracy of any manually entered data
- data from connected integrations (Stripe, GitHub, etc.) is displayed as-received — we do not modify it
- you may disconnect integrations or deactivate your public page at any time
- using the “Verified” badge falsely or displaying fabricated metrics is a violation of these terms
5. acceptable use
you agree not to:
- display false, misleading, or fabricated metrics on your public page
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws
- impersonate another person or entity
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- use automated systems to scrape or extract data from GROVV
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- use your public page to promote illegal activities, hate speech, or harassment
6. subscription plans & payments
GROVV offers free and paid subscription plans:
- free ($0/mo): core features at no cost, forever. includes public page, live metrics, milestone cards, streak badge, directory listing, and leaderboard eligibility.
- pro (coming soon): verified badge, custom domain, full MRR history, embeddable widget, X post generator, weekly digest. founding price locked for first 100 users.
paid plans will be billed monthly. you may cancel at any time. upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your billing period, then revert to the Free plan.
7. handle reservation
when you join the waitlist, you may reserve a handle (grovv.top/@yourname). handle reservations are:
- first-come, first-served
- subject to availability
- non-transferable without GROVV approval
- revocable if the handle violates these terms (impersonation, offensive content, trademark infringement)
GROVV reserves the right to reclaim handles that are inactive, misleading, or in violation of our policies.
8. third-party integrations
GROVV connects to third-party services (Stripe, Dodo Payments, GitHub, etc.) through their official APIs using read-only OAuth. you acknowledge that:
- connection to third-party services is governed by those services' own terms
- we access only the data necessary to populate your public page
- you can revoke access to any integration at any time from your dashboard
- we are not responsible for changes or outages in third-party services
9. intellectual property
the GROVV platform, including its design, code, logos, and content, is owned by GROVV and protected by intellectual property laws. you retain ownership of any content you create or upload to your public page. by using GROVV, you grant us a license to display your content on your public page and in the GROVV directory as part of the Service.
10. “powered by GROVV” badge
free plan users acknowledge that a “powered by GROVV” badge will be displayed on their public page. this badge is an integral part of the free service. Pro plan users may optionally remove this badge.
11. limitation of liability
GROVV is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. we are not liable for:
- inaccuracies in data pulled from third-party integrations
- service interruptions or downtime
- loss of data (though we do our best to prevent this)
- any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. termination
we may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. you may delete your account at any time from your settings. upon termination:
- your public page will be deactivated
- your data will be deleted within 30 days
- any active subscription will be cancelled
- your reserved handle will be released
13. changes to terms
we may update these terms from time to time. we will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. governing law
these terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
